How to choose your cabin

Guarantee? These are the cabins the cruise line allocates, after everyone who has picked their own cabin has had their choice. By definition, they are the cabins that nobody else wanted. Think the very back of the ship, above the nightclub, or with life rafts blocking your view. However, these cabins still get you on board the cruise, and are good for saving money.

Midships or front and back of the ship? The conventional wisdom is that midship on a low deck is best to avoid sea sickness. These ships are so stable these days that this isn’t quite as important. However, when you are at the front of the ship and use the elevators at the back of the ship it’s a long walk. I always try and get a cabin between the elevators.

What deck? Low decks are a short trip to the bars and restaurants, and high decks are close to the pool and buffet. Low may be better for sea sickness. Generally, the more expensive cabins are higher up, showing what the cruise line thinks. Always look at the deck above and below your cabin for sources of noise like the pool, buffet and nightclub.

Interior (inside) Cabin with virtual balcony

The most affordable cabin option, Interior staterooms are located inside the ship and do not have windows. They provide a comfortable and cosy space with all the essential amenities, making them perfect for guests who plan to spend most of their time enjoying the ship and destinations rather than staying in their room.

"Virtual balcony" means a giant TV screen with views of the outside, which gives the feel of having a window.

Ocean View Cabin

Ocean View cabins feature a window or porthole that lets in natural light and offers views of the sea. They provide a bright and relaxing atmosphere while still offering great value for money compared to balcony rooms.

Balcony Cabin

Balcony staterooms include a private outdoor balcony where guests can enjoy fresh sea air and scenic ocean views. These cabins are larger than most interior or ocean view rooms and are popular with travellers who want their own private space to relax..

Suite

Suites are the most spacious and luxurious accommodations onboard. They offer significantly more living space and often include premium perks such as priority boarding, concierge services, exclusive lounges, and upgraded amenities for a more indulgent cruise experience.

Meet your hosts - Corina and Bob
We can't make this one, but we will teach you all the tips and tricks before you go.

Every great cruise has a heartbeat — and on this one, it’s Corina (with Bob keeping things quietly on track behind the scenes).

With over 50 cruises under their belt, including more than 10 full takeovers, they know exactly how to bring the right mix of fun, connection, and just a little bit of mischief.

Corina is the spark that brings it all together — warm, welcoming, and just the right amount of cheeky. She has a natural way of introducing people, lifting the energy, and making everyone feel instantly part of the experience.

Bob is the calm, easygoing counterpart — always up for a chat, happy to lend a hand, and making sure everything flows smoothly in the background.

Together, they create a relaxed, playful atmosphere where it’s easy to connect, feel comfortable, and let the cruise unfold exactly how you want it to.

General Experience

What is a full ship takeover cruise?
A full ship takeover means the entire cruise is privately booked for like-minded adults. Everyone onboard is part of the same community, creating a relaxed, open-minded, and judgment-free atmosphere.

Is this cruise only for couples?
Most full takeover cruises are primarily designed for couples, but some may allow select single males or females depending on the event rules. Always check the specific cruise guidelines before booking.

Do I have to participate in anything?
Absolutely not. Participation is always optional. You can be as social or as private as you like—many guests simply enjoy the atmosphere, parties, and meeting new people.

What’s the vibe onboard?
Think upscale, fun, and respectful. During the day it’s pool parties and workshops, while evenings bring themed parties, entertainment, and a more playful atmosphere.

Privacy & Safety

Is my privacy protected?
Yes. Guest privacy is taken very seriously. Photography and video are restricted, and all guests are expected to respect discretion at all times.

Are there rules or guidelines?
Yes—every takeover cruise operates under a clear set of rules focused on consent, respect, and behaviour. “No means no” is strictly enforced, and everyone is expected to follow community guidelines.

Is this a safe environment?
Yes. These events are well-organised with staff and security onboard. The community is generally very respectful, and safety is a top priority.

Lifestyle Questions

Do I need experience in the lifestyle?
Not at all. Many guests are first-timers. These cruises are a great way to explore in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

What if we’re just curious?
That’s completely fine. Plenty of guests attend just to observe, learn, and enjoy the social side without participating.

Is there pressure to join in?
No. Respect and consent are core values. You set your own boundaries, always.

Activities & Entertainment

What kind of events are included?
Expect themed parties, live entertainment, DJs, poolside events, and social mixers. There are also playrooms available for those who choose to explore further.

Are there dress codes?
Yes—many nights have fun themes (e.g. white party, lingerie, costume nights). Participation is encouraged but not mandatory.

What happens during the day?
Daytime is typically relaxed—think pool, excursions, dining, and socialising, just like a regular cruise.

Cabins & Booking

Can we choose our cabin type?
Yes. You can select from a range of cabin options depending on availability and budget.

How do bookings work?
Bookings are handled by Corina on your behalf – she will hold your hand through the whole process. A deposit secures your spot, with payment plans available.

Are flights included?
Flights are not included. Always check what’s included in your specific cruise offer.

Will we feel out of place if we’re new?

Not at all. A large portion of guests are new each time, and the community is known for being welcoming and inclusive.

Is it more about lifestyle or just a great holiday?
It’s both. You can enjoy it purely as a fun, social cruise—or explore more if and when you’re comfortable
