If you’ve been thinking about visiting Cap d’Agde, you’re probably feeling a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. For many Australians, it’s a destination that’s been on the bucket list for years. We’ve all heard the stories, seen the documentaries and read the articles, but arriving in a village on the other side of the world where you don’t know a single person can be a little daunting.
That’s exactly why we’ve created Australian Week.
This isn’t a group tour where every minute is organised, and it certainly isn’t a holiday where you’re expected to stay with the group from breakfast until bedtime. Instead, it’s a relaxed, premium hosted week designed to give you something that independent travellers often wish they had—a friendly group of people to share the experience with.
The idea is beautifully simple. Every day there will be a place where everyone knows they can find the group. It might be a beach bar, a café, a favourite spot on the beach or somewhere to meet before dinner. If you feel like company, you’ll always know where to find us. If you’d rather spend the day exploring on your own, that’s absolutely fine too. The group will still be there when you’re ready to rejoin.
One of the biggest challenges for first-time visitors isn’t understanding Cap d’Agde—it’s knowing where to start. Which beach is everyone going to today? Which club is worth visiting tonight? Where do people usually have dinner? Is there somewhere good for a quiet drink before heading out? Instead of trying to work it all out for yourself, you’ll have experienced hosts and a group of fellow Australians who are asking exactly the same questions.
By the end of the first afternoon you’ll already know names, have people to chat with over a drink and probably have dinner plans for that evening. That makes a remarkable difference to how quickly Cap d’Agde starts to feel familiar.
Throughout the week we’ll organise a number of informal catch-ups. Some days we’ll meet for a long lunch overlooking the marina. Other afternoons we’ll spend together at one of the beach clubs or simply relax on the sand. In the evenings we’ll often arrange group dinners before heading out to whichever bars or clubs people are keen to visit that night.

If the instalments are not paid within 15 days of the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation according to the published cancellation policy.
The cancellation will be processed according to the published cancellation policy and the conditions listed below, according to the notice period given in relation to the start date of the event.
If you fail to turn up for the event without prior notice, you will not receive any refund and any accommodation you have booked will no longer be available the day after your scheduled arrival date.

The organisers of this event and/or their appointed associates reserves the right to video film and photograph this event for promotional reasons and all clients attending this event and accepting the terms and conditions when booking this event consent to such filming & photography. The utmost attention will be taken to protect the privacy and discretion of all guests and all guests have the right to stop any cameramen from filming and/or taking photos of them at all times by asking them not to be recorded.
What is Australian Week at Cap d’Agde?
Australian Week is our hosted week at the Cap d’Agde Naturist Village in the south of France. Rather than arriving in Cap d’Agde on your own, you’ll already have a group of like-minded Australians to meet, socialise with and explore the village with.
It’s designed to give you the best of both worlds: the freedom to enjoy Cap d’Agde however you like, with a ready-made group of friends there when you want company.
When is Australian Week?
Australian Week runs from 19–25 July 2027.
Is this a fully organised group tour?
No — deliberately.
We don’t want to march everyone around Cap d’Agde following a timetable. There’ll be opportunities to meet up, have drinks, go out together and explore the nightlife, but you’re free to spend as much or as little time with the group as you like.
It’s your holiday.
Do we have to be swingers?
No. Cap d’Agde attracts both traditional naturists and people involved in the lifestyle. Australian Week is aimed at open-minded adults who are comfortable holidaying in this environment, but there is absolutely no expectation that anyone has to participate in anything.
We’re new to the lifestyle. Will we feel out of place?
Not at all. In fact, going as part of a group can make a first visit considerably easier.
You don’t have to walk into a club knowing nobody or wonder how to meet people. You’ll already know people from our group, and you can explore Cap d’Agde at your own pace.
There is no competition and nothing you need to prove.
Do we have to be naked?
Cap d’Agde is a naturist village, so nudity is a normal part of everyday life, particularly around the beach and naturist areas.
But don’t imagine everyone walking around naked 24 hours a day. People dress for restaurants, evenings and nightlife, and some of the outfits after dark are considerably more elaborate than anything you’ll see during the day.
What happens during the day?
Whatever you want.
Spend the day on the beach, relax by the pool, have a long lunch, wander around the marina, shop, meet friends for drinks or simply do absolutely nothing.
One of the great things about Cap d’Agde is that it feels like a real Mediterranean holiday during the day.
What happens at night?
That’s when Cap d’Agde changes gear.
There are bars, restaurants, dance clubs, lifestyle clubs, themed venues and places ranging from relatively relaxed to considerably more adventurous.
You don’t need to visit a club every night — or at all. Some of the best nights can simply start with dinner and drinks and develop from there.
Which clubs should we visit?
There isn’t one club that’s right for everybody.
Le Glamour is one of the best-known choices for a big night and dancing, Tantra is generally more intimate and social, while Kamasutra offers more of a spa-style experience. There are also daytime venues, bars and numerous other clubs to explore.

Is there any pressure to play?
Absolutely not.
Being in Cap d’Agde, entering a lifestyle club or talking to another couple does not imply consent to anything.
A simple “No thanks” is enough. Respect and consent are fundamental to the lifestyle and to our group.
What is the accommodation like?
There are a range of studios, apartments, seaview apartments and penthouses available, depending on availability and budget.
Most include a kitchenette, ensuite facilities and an open terrace, with different sizes and locations throughout the property.
Are the prices per person or per apartment?
Prices are per apartment for 2 people. Ask us if you need something different.
Can single people come?
Absolutely.
Is accommodation cleaning included?
Apartment cleaning is available separately for the five nights from the 20th to the 24th. Based on the current pricing, it is €125.
Do we need to speak French?
No.
Cap d’Agde attracts visitors from all over Europe and you’ll hear plenty of English. That said, learning a few basic French words goes a long way, particularly in shops and restaurants.
And if your French consists mainly of bonjour, merci and pointing at the wine list, you’ll survive.
Can we take photos?
Be very careful.
People may be completely comfortable being nude while still expecting absolute privacy. Don’t photograph other people without permission, particularly around the beach, and many lifestyle venues prohibit phones and photography altogether.
Is Cap d’Agde safe?
Generally, yes. The Naturist Village is a controlled-access area and has a strong culture of privacy, consent and respect.
It’s still a busy European holiday destination, though, so normal precautions with phones, wallets and valuables apply.
What should we pack?
Think of it as two completely different wardrobes.
For daytime you’ll want normal Mediterranean holiday gear: swimwear, sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes and something light to throw on.
For nighttime, bring clothes you’re happy going out in. Cap d’Agde nightlife can be glamorous, sexy and adventurous, so this is one holiday where you probably won’t regret packing the outfit you normally wonder where on earth you’d ever wear.
How do we get to Cap d’Agde?
From Australia, you’ll normally fly into a major European city and continue to southern France by air or train. France’s rail network makes Cap d’Agde much easier to reach than many Australians expect.

Can we combine Australian Week with the Killing Kittens cruise?
Of course, we have designed this to be the next leg of that trip.
For anyone coming all the way from Australia, it’s a pretty spectacular way to turn Australian Week into part of a much bigger European holiday.

Yes. Australian Week is hosted by Corina and Bob, so you’ll have familiar faces there and people who know how your Australian groups work.
What if we’re nervous about going?
Good. You’re normal.
Almost every first-time visitor wonders what they’ve got themselves into before arriving. Then they discover that much of Cap d’Agde consists of completely ordinary holiday things — breakfast, beach, lunch, drinks, dinner and meeting people — just in a decidedly less ordinary environment.
Give yourself a day to settle in. You don’t have to do everything on night one.
